Description
Kinki Studio EX-M1 Integrated Amplifier
Balanced Power. Reference Performance. Minimalist Beauty.
The Kinki Studio EX-M1 is a high-performance integrated amplifier engineered to deliver exceptional musicality, power, and resolution in a sleek, minimalist form. With its fully discrete, dual-mono design and true balanced architecture, the EX-M1 combines the finesse of a high-end preamp with the authority of a powerful Class AB power amplifier — all in a single chassis.
Internally, the EX-M1 is built around two massive 400VA low-noise toroidal transformers and an ultra-clean linear power supply architecture that provides unwavering current delivery and dynamic headroom. Each channel features independent amplification modules, laid out symmetrically for optimal channel separation and low crosstalk. This design achieves up to 215W per channel into 4 ohms (or 215Wpc into 8 ohms in the latest revision), capable of driving even the most demanding loudspeakers with ease and control.
The EX-M1 uses a relay-based stepped attenuator volume control system with 256 precision steps, offering a perfect balance of analog warmth and volume precision. The signal path is entirely free of op-amps, and the amplifier stages operate in pure Class AB for the ideal blend of speed, control, and tonal richness. The sound is unmistakably refined — fast, transparent, and dynamic, with deep bass extension and sweet, natural highs.
Connectivity includes XLR and RCA inputs, selectable via the front panel or remote control. The industrial-grade aluminum chassis ensures excellent shielding from EMI/RFI, while also exuding understated elegance that fits into any premium setup.
The Kinki Studio EX-M1 is a compelling alternative to separates, delivering flagship-level sonics in a design that’s both simple and beautifully executed. It’s not just an integrated amplifier — it’s the beating heart of a true audiophile system.
